The e-llis Consultancy & Solutions is a passionate team on a mission to help as many customers as possible in improving their supply chain. We are a group of data and process driven analysts and consultants. We use applied mathematics, economic theory, logistical knowledge, process mapping and (financial) engineering to drive end-2-end supply chain optimization. We also have people on-site at customers to implement the solutions we have designed.

We keep on growing, and therefore, we are looking for a young professional that wants to join our team in Maastricht, The Netherlands, to work on European and global projects.

Job Summary

We are looking for a junior analyst to join our team and help us deliver data-driven insights and solutions to our clients. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data, creating reports and dashboards, and supporting client meetings. You will also learn from senior analysts and develop your skills and knowledge in various domains and industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify trends, evaluate data, and interpret data using analytical tools and techniques
• Identify missing data and draw simple conclusions based on available information
• Design and create specifications, reports, and analysis as requested by clients or senior analysts
• Clearly structure data and present data visualization using appropriate tools and methods
• Communicate effectively and clearly with technical and non-technical audience, both orally and in writing
• Manage and prioritize day-to-day business tasks and adhere to committed deadlines
• Support and listen in client meetings, take notes, and write meeting minutes
• Understand business processes workflow and business rules in various domains and industries
• Think critically, ask sensible questions, and identify problems
• Be able to make decisions in simple matters and escalate issues when needed
• Collaborate effectively and build internal relationships with team members and other stakeholders

Requires Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, economics, statistics, logistics, etc.)
• Some work experience gained during or after your study
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic industry/domain knowledge and understanding of common business practices and principles
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Interpersonal and collaboration skills
