HR Manager

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all HR-related activities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training and development.

As an HR manager, you will develop and implement a HR-plan that aligns with the organisational strategy.

In this role, you will lead various HR initiatives and support the ongoing change and improvement processes within the whole organisation. You are aware of the organisational needs and challenges and provide advice to the Operational Team and the Executive Board on HR-related matters, both proactively and reactively. You will handle both strategic and operational tasks. Your team will consist of 1 HR administrative person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR vision, strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization
  • Drive and facilitate change; creating a fit organization for the future using analytics to make driven decisions where and how to improve & develop.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
  • Educate, coach and partner with managers on performance management and employee development goals.
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Final responsibility for salary calculations
  • Optimising and standardising the HR-administration
  • Advise management on HR-related matters

Requirements:

  • Experienced HR lead with strong interpersonal skills
  • People-oriented and results-driven
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Dutch employment law, regulations and trends and developments
  • BS/MS degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 5+ years of related work experience as HR Professional
  • Fluent English & Dutch, other languages are a plus
