Sourcing Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sourcing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sending out rate requests, assisting with contract management by working with our Freight Audit and Billing department and suppliers to resolve issues, and performing various administrative tasks to support our tender processes.

Your main tasks include:

  • Rate Requests: Prepare and send out rate requests to suppliers and partners. Ensure timely follow-up and accurate data collection.
  • Contract Management: Collaborate with our Freight Audit department and suppliers to identify and resolve contract-related issues.
  • Administrative Support: Perform general administrative duties related to the tender process, including document preparation, data entry, and file management.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth and efficient tender processes.
  • Documentation: Ensure all tender-related documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and stored appropriately.
  • Category Team: Help set-up and participate actively in category team meetings and initiatives to drive category performance and improvement.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on tender activities, including status updates, issue resolutions, and other relevant metrics.

Job Requirements

  • Entrepreneurial, energetic and hands-on mentality;
  • Minimum 1-2 years of demonstrable relevant work experience preferably in the field of logistics or procurement, or;
  • A completed Bachelor degree in Business Administration or related field;
  • Knowledge and understanding of logistics trends, market activities and competitive environments in transportation;
  • Communicative strong with good command of English in word and writing;
  • Critical thinker and able to draw conclusions;
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
